Sending.

It's official.  We are on the road.  This evening was our sending service.  Each of the 7 Youth Encounter teams shared a song, and then we all sang two songs together.  It was fun reuniting with all the national teams after being away with the international teams for the week.

This week we learned about cultural things.  We talked about stereotyping and relating to people of different cultures and religions.  We talked about how US citizens are viewed overseas and ways we can act and learn and incorporate other cultures into our cross cultural programs.  Overall it was a fun week.  It was nice to be with the Watermark Germany (WMG) team.  It was just us two groups and a few staff members, so much fewer people, felt a little more relaxed.   We had time to run through our worship programs and get advice from staff, and had the opportunity to perform for WMG and have them perform for us as if it were a true performance on the road.

We are headed to Woodbury Minnesota tomorrow, and then we are off to Wisconsin for the week before heading east to Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
